Phymedco's History

Phymedco was started in 1984 when a group of physicians asked Elizabeth Archer to help them build and manage a free-standing medical practice.  From that humble beginning, servicing one client in one medical specialty, Phymedco has grown to servicing 15 separate medical groups comprising over 80 providers.

Through the years the principles of Phymedco, Elizabeth and her son, Andrew Archer, have provided core medical billing and practice management services.  They have also assisted in the building of new facilities, as well as, the purchasing and implementation of new technologies and treatment modalities.  Phymedco has focused their efforts upon improving the financial health of their client’s medical practices.  This dedication to bottom line results has freed their physician partners to focus on what is truly important, providing the best patient care possible.

Today, Phymedco offers highly detailed and technologically advanced medical billing services with the goal of ensuring that every charge is captured, accounted for, and paid as quickly as possible.  They also offer a complete suite of practice management functions, including cash flow and fixed asset financing analysis, A/R and A/P administration, and budgeting.  Phymedco has also developed proven workflow policies and procedures that dramatically increase medical office efficiencies when implemented.

With the recent addition of partner Mark Archer, a veteran of 25 plus years at GE Finance, Phymedco is committed to providing clear and concise financial direction to their clients well into the 21st century.  Focusing on the implementation and operation of revenue enhancing and cost saving new technologies, such as, EMR based medical billing and practice management operations, positions Phymedco and their clients for continued success.
